January 13, 2025 – Allentown, PA – Access Point Consulting proudly supported families in need by participating in a recent volunteer event at Second Harvest Food Bank in Nazareth, PA.
A dedicated group of 11 Access Point cybersecurity professionals took part in the event on January 8, uniting in support of Second Harvest’s mission to combat hunger in the Lehigh Valley and Northeastern Pennsylvania. The team spent the morning sorting more than 3,000 pounds of donated food—much of which was surplus from Starbucks—and packing an additional 4,288 pounds. These efforts equate to approximately 3,573 meals that benefited active-duty veterans and their families, as well as local food pantries, schools, soup kitchens, and shelters.

“It was a pleasure to support Second Harvest and contribute to their efforts to help people in need,” said Karen Goodman, Director of People and Culture at Access Point Consulting. “It was eye-opening to see their facility and witness the impact they have on the local community.
