ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania — Access Point Technology, an industry leader in cybersecurity consulting, is proud to announce its latest Culture of Caring corporate donation to Allentown Central Catholic High School (ACCHS).
Allentown Central is a private, parochial school located at 301 North Fourth Street in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The school educates a diverse group of students predominantly from the Lehigh Valley region of the state, preparing them to attend and excel at selective institutions of higher education.
The Culture of Caring is a quarterly giving campaign in which employees recommend causes they wish to support. Of those recommendations, a select few are chosen for corporate sponsorship in the year ahead. To date, Access Point and its employees have donated more than $70,000 to a variety of worthy causes. This year, Access Point demonstrated its commitment to local educational institutions by donating $30,000 to ACCHS. The school identified ‘technology’ as a critically important need that is integral to all their academic programs. Consequently, the gift has been designated for use in advancing ACCHS’s technology resources––its broadcast studio, engineering and forensics curriculums in particular.
“Access Point Technology has, since its inception, believed that part of our responsibility is to be good stewards of our communities,” said Matthew Vassallo, CEO of Access Point. “Our Culture of Caring initiative provides us the opportunity to donate our time, money, or services to causes that we feel are important. Our employees are encouraged to participate, with matching donations from Access Point ownership.”
Dennis Csensits, Director of Development at Allentown Central, had this to say about the donation: “The reach of this gift is extremely significant. It will have a direct, positive, and lasting impact on our student’s educational experience. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Access Point for their generosity.”
